So I stumble upon an article in DN. Apparently David Cameron is a morality preacher; he’s suggesting a law that will filter porn (or porn sites?) starting late 2013.
From what I understand, Internet Service Providers will then, by default, apply a filter to remove any sites containing explicit material. Any household would have to contact their ISP to re-enable the full internet.
Then I read an article on The Guardian, discussing something totally different: the creation of a central database of child-abuse images, to be used in hunting the bastards dealing with such crap… So what is going on??
Finally I found my way to this analysis of what Cameron is up to, and the conclusion is ”nothing but looking like an effective politician”. Also known as ”election time coming soon”.

Nothings gonna get any better for sex crime victims if a majority of the people with good intent desperately want to look away from the problems in disgust. Looking away from disgusting shit or wanting it censored is a fucking egoist stance. Caring more about your own feeling of disgust than about the victims of crimes.
